DJ Cuz (Richard Newell) has been in the game for over 15 years, turning venues into full-blown parties with his genre-fluid sets and high-impact energy. A mainstay in Atlantic Canada’s nightlife, he’s held residencies at some of the biggest clubs in the region, known as your favourite DJ's girlfriend's favourite DJ. He has held a George Street residency for the past 8 years, currently gracing the street 3-4 nights per week.
With a solid background in radio, Richard honed his skills behind the mic and the decks, blending top hits with underground sounds long before they hit the mainstream. No stranger to the big stage, DJ Cuz has performed at some of Newfoundland and Labrador’s largest festivals, bringing his signature sound to thousands of fans.
His talent and presence have landed him opening spots for global superstars including Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and Nelly - setting the tone for unforgettable nights. Whether it’s a packed club, a summer festival, or a headline show, DJ Cuz brings professionalism, passion, and pure energy every time he steps behind the decks.
